A woman named Jaycee Shakur is surfacing on the internet claiming she is the daughter of the famous rapper Tupac Shakur, but is she really?

One name that always roams around the hip-hop world and fans is Tupac Shakur, who rose to fame in the 1990s with his immense and raw talent. Although Tupac’s music still is influential, he is no more with us. Even after his death, he got awarded the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which his sister Sekyiwa “Set” Shakur accepted.

Does Tupac have a daughter?
A TikTok user Jaycee Shakur (@boogiebentley) claimed that she is the daughter of rapper Tupac back in July 2021. After the claim, she got the attention of many fans and got millions of views on her video. Many people believed that she indeed is Tupac’s daughter while others said she is just doing it for attention.

However, is she really Tupac’s daughter? Well, she does resemble Tupac a bit but there isn’t enough or solid proof to support her claim.
Did Tupac have a wife and kids?
Although it’s not really proven that Jaycee is the rapper’s daughter let’s just assume that she was, but if so then who’s her mother? was Tupac even married? or had any kids?
Well, according to The Sun, Shakur was married to Keisha Morris a year before his death on April 29, 1995. They were married at Clinton Correctional Facility while Shakur was serving time for sexual assault. Although the couple separated before Shakur’s death, Keisha revealed that they had planned to have children.
She said, “When we got married, Tupac said he wanted to have kids; his publicist and our close friend Karen Lee was shocked to see how much Tupac had changed. She had never heard him talking about marriage or children, Tupac picked out names, he wanted to move to Arizona and name our daughter Star, and our son Michelangelo,” she said. “I liked Star, but not Michelangelo.”
However, even though she said that they planned for kids, it’s not confirmed that the rapper had any children but that doesn’t stop fans from having thought that Shakur may have secretly had a daughter (Jaycee).
Theories that suggest Jaycee might be Tupac’s daughter
If you’re a Tupac fan then you might very well be familiar with the conspiracy theories behind Shakur’s death. There are many fans who believe that Tupac actually faked his death and is still alive. However, the theories is not only limited to his death.
As fans have speculated that another popular rapper Busta Rhymes foreshadowed that Tupac has a daughter. In Busta Rhymes’ album When Disaster Strikes (1997) he wrote a line in his booklet which was dedicated to Tupac.
He wrote, “Tupac: soldier, warrior, may Allah bless your family, your daughter, her mother, your mother (Afeni Shakur).”
While this led people to think Tupac had a daughter, a picture of Tupac with his mother holding a little baby girl and considering Busta Rhymes’ line for Tupac and the picture above screams nothing but the rapper indeed had a daughter.
However, as much as this evidence points out that Tupac had a daughter, it is undeniable that while Tupac was still alive he didn’t have any children. Furthermore, none of his family members or his ex-wives or girlfriends have claimed to have a child of his.

As we’ve mentioned earlier, there is evidence that suggests the Hail Mary rapper had a daughter, but still, even if he did have a daughter, there is no way to tell if Jaycee is Shakur’s daughter. She only uploaded a video claiming to be the rapper’s daughter but there’s no solid proof.
