Kanye West has been given access to the courtroom in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ sex trafficking trial after being added to the Bad Boy rapper’s guest list. The news comes after Ye turned up at the Manhattan courthouse on June 13th, but was denied entry.

The Chicago rapper, who has been outspoken in supporting Combs amid his legal troubles, has been put on his trial guest list for friends and family. Should he attend any days in the future, he will sit in two reserved rows on the left side of the 26th-floor courtroom.

When he arrived last week, Kanye wasn’t on the approved list of friends. A source told Business Insider, “He did not wait in line like everybody else from the public. No one gets special treatment.” Instead, he and Combs’ son, Christian, watched the trial together on a screen in an overflow room.

In February, Ye called for Combs’ freedom in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter). “FREE PUFF,” he wrote. “ALL THESE CELEBRITY N*GGAS AND BITCHES IS PUSSY YALL A WATCH OUR BROTHER ROT AND NEVER SAY SHIT.

“FUCK ALL THAT WOKE SHIT N*GGAS ADDICTED TO COMPLAINING DO SOMETHING. WE ALL WATCHED THEM TRY TO CANCEL CHRIS BROWN AND AINT NOBODY DO NOTHING I WAS PUSSY THEN TOO CHRIS BROWN ITS TIL THE WHEELS FALL OFF.”

Kanye added, “JUST FOR CLARITY THEY TYRING TO MAKE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF PUFF … THESE WHITE PEOPLE TRYING TO USE PUFF TO SCARE N*GGAS IM NEITHER SCARED NOR BRAVE THIS JUST ME … WHOS EVER AFTER PUFF WE GOTTA FIND OUT EXACTLY WHO THEY ARE OK COOL PLAY OFF THE GRID.”

Combs is facing charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for purposes of prostitution. If found guilty, he faces up to life in prison.
