Judge dismisses Jay-Z paternity case over alleged son

Jay-Z has been battling allegations that he might be the father of a man named Rymir Satterthwaite for years. However, a judge dismissed the paternity case this week.

The lawsuit was dismissed with prejudice in California on November 4th. A woman named Lillie Coley, who is Rymir’s godmother, claimed Hov could be his father.

According to the Daily Mail, she alleged that he was fathered by Jay in the 1990s with a woman named Wanda Satterthwaite, who passed away six years ago.

Wanda attempted to have Jay-Z take a paternity test for nearly two decades in New Jersey and Pennsylvania courts, but it’s now all come to an end.

A judge for the United States District Court – Central District of California said, “The Court has read and considered the motion [to dismiss the case] and concluded that it is suitable for decision without oral argument.”

Wanda gave birth to Rymir in July 1993 after allegedly having sexual relations with Jay in 1992. She claimed they used protection that failed.

The woman also slept with a man named Robert Graves around that time, but he took a paternity test in 2010 that confirmed he wasn’t the father.

Speaking last year, Rymir said, “I really want to resolve this. I want to resolve this and get this matter done. I really do. I don’t want any money. I just want the truth. Honestly, I don’t got nothing against you. I just feel like we could get this resolved.”

Jay-Z’s legal team have previously addressed and denied the claims. “The fabricated allegations and claims have been addressed – and rejected – in multiple other courts and [Satterthwaite’s] continued harassment of [Jay-Z] and disregard of those orders has already resulted in a contempt order,” they said.
