Just because I’m my baby daddy doesn’t mean you get to talk about my baby.
That was Cardi B, fiery as ever, addressing her latest romantic implosion while on tour. But this time, the target of her wrath wasn’t her estranged husband Offset. It was NFL star Stefon Diggs, the man she hoped would heal her wounds. Instead, according to sources and social media sleuths, he just ripped the bandage off and poured salt in it.
Honestly, I still can’t believe Cardi B went from a toxic marriage with Offset to a man who allegedly put her through more in one year than Offset did in a decade. Stefon Diggs, it turns out, is surprisingly more Offset than Offset himself.
And if you believe the whispers coming from the camps of her two biggest rivals—estranged husband Offset and longtime nemesis Nicki Minaj—the reason Cardi keeps getting dumped is simple: she’s the drama.
Let’s rewind. We all remember how embarrassing it was last Christmas when Diggs confirmed his multiple offspring from multiple baby mamas. While Cardi was left alone for the holidays, he was reportedly with them, posting about it. For a woman who prides herself on being the main character, being sidelined during the festive season was a humiliation too far.
But based on reports, Cardi played along. She wanted to be seen as the main chick. She didn’t want to be viewed as a failure after the messy situation with Offset. Honey, I get it. Cardi probably got with Diggs to get her groove back. Offset was a terrible husband—he cheated left and right, allegedly even with some of her own industry peers. Disrespectful doesn’t even cover it.
So along came Stefon, the knight in shining shoulder pads. He reportedly told her, “Let me heal you. Give me a chance for me to heal you.”
Excuse me? Heal her?
The last time I checked, Stefon Diggs is a professional football player who decided to forego his athletic scholarship at the University of Maryland to enter the 2015 NFL draft. He is not a clinical psychiatrist, an MD, or any other profession that equips him to heal anything beyond rubbing some Icy Hot on sore muscles. So, I’m not sure how Cardi expected to get healed.
Well, I’m afraid this man has possibly done even more damage. Based on what we already know about him, he’s probably worse than Offset. We are talking about somebody whose own teammates don’t even want him dating their sisters because of how notorious his reputation is.
When asked which player on the team they’d least like to date their sister, the answer was unanimous: Diggs.
“Why Diggs?” the interviewer asked.
“He’s just… he’s crazy. He’s just outrageous. Don’t know what he’s going to say. Just don’t know what to expect every day. So, he couldn’t date my sister,” a teammate replied.
Another echoed the sentiment: “Least like to date my sister? Diggs.”
This is the person Cardi B expected to heal her. Clearly, the joke is on her.
The final nail in the coffin came at the Super Bowl. Allegedly, Diggs wanted his son, whom he shares with baby mama Kiki, to attend the big game. Arrangements were made. But at the last minute, Kiki decided she didn’t want her son going alone and demanded she be there too. Diggs relented, getting her a ticket—far away from Cardi, who was seated in another area.
But y’all know Kiki. If she’s in the building, she’s going to be seen. She took a bunch of pictures and posted them on her IG stories. Of course, Cardi got mad. People were tagging her in the comments, and she was pissed. Allegedly, she felt like this was supposed to be their moment. She didn’t want any drama. But the moment Kiki posted, the internet went crazy.
Just when I thought Kiki was the only one there, I found out that Diggs also had his ex, Bri, sitting right next to his family—the same woman who was allegedly involved with Cardi’s ex-husband. Yeah, that was definitely a slap in the face.
And I know they want to say, “Oh, they’re just friends.” But if you know this woman is tied to your girlfriend’s husband, why is she front and center? Reports claimed Diggs was even caught sneaking Bri into his hotel room literally an hour after the Super Bowl loss.
Also, guess what? I saw some people claiming the other baby mamas were also at the Super Bowl. Good lord. Somebody needs to get me out of this group chat because I just cannot.
To be honest, I knew something was up when Cardi was interviewed at one of the pre-Super Bowl events. The interviewer asked if she wanted to tell Diggs anything before the big game. She said, with a scowl, “Good luck.” And walked away.
The bond before the game, one inspired message: “Good luck.”
Probably some argument must have happened before the Super Bowl. Her tone and body language said it all. Maybe she already knew that Diggs was about to host an entire family reunion at the stadium. Apparently, Cardi left after her brief halftime appearance with Bad Bunny, skipping the rest of the game and canceling a planned $1.2 million afterparty.
Over the last few days, it’s been clear Cardi and Diggs are done. They unfollowed each other on Instagram. To confirm the rumors, Diggs posted a picture on his IG stories with the song “Rolling Stone” playing.
Baby, we know what a rolling stone means. The term is used for a man unable or unwilling to settle down. The song literally has the lyrics: “I’m too wild to be tied down. I got demons. I’m going to hurt you. Don’t try to own me because I can’t be tamed.”
Okay, Stefon, we get exactly what you’re communicating. Quite the healer, if you ask me.
Also, can I mention that Diggs is on his fourth lawsuit as we speak? A former employee filed a suit in Miami-Dade County for defamation. Apparently, in 2024, Diggs asked this employee to help transport a luxury Ferrari from Miami to New York and then Houston. The car was later reported stolen. Although law enforcement cleared the employee of any wrongdoing, the lawsuit alleges Diggs continued to publicly accuse him of the theft, damaging his reputation.
The lawsuit also includes an incident from December 2025 at a Miami nightclub, where the plaintiff alleges he was jumped by individuals connected to Diggs. This man already faces another lawsuit involving a former girlfriend, a lawsuit from a stylist alleging Diggs and his brothers jumped him when he refused their advances, and a legal battle with Chef Ma, which also involves Cardi B.
At this point, Cardi’s fans can’t help but feel sorry for her. She’s going to be linked to Diggs forever. However, there are also people saying they don’t see Cardi stopping the cycle. And I honestly get where they’re coming from.
Let’s look at the pattern. Cardi married Offset, then the father of three children with three different women, in 2017 before she welcomed their first child together in 2018. She filed for divorce in 2020, but they reconciled and welcomed Wave in 2021. In July 2024, she filed for divorce again. Later that year, in September and during divorce proceedings, she welcomed Blossom, making Offset a father of six with four baby mothers.
Throughout their marriage—which is still not officially over, by the way—the world watched Cardi crash out over Offset after he repeatedly disrespected and embarrassed her. Now, instead of taking time to heal, she got right under another messy dude. And she’s going through the same cycle.
Personally, the saddest part is that her daughter, Kulture, is seven years old. She’s old enough to recognize that her parents broke up, had another sibling after breaking up, and then her mom started dating another man almost immediately. She’s probably confused, asking a lot of questions.
If her daughter’s confusion didn’t stop Cardi from getting tangled up with Diggs, who’s to say it’ll stop her from doing the same thing with another man? Or from getting back with Diggs and breaking up with him a million times again, just like she did with Offset?
In fact, a source reported that Cardi and Diggs recently broke up, but it’s possible they get back together. “This could just be for right now,” the source said. “She is focused on her upcoming tour and family while figuring out their next steps.”
Following the news of the breakup and Diggs’s mounting legal troubles, Offset allegedly posted the words “I won” on social media. Behind the scenes, he’s reportedly been saying that the reason Cardi keeps getting dumped is because she’s the drama.
I mean, Cardi truly is the drama. We’ve watched her crash out on Instagram Live, air out her grievances, and fight with fans. But is she the cause of her own romantic failures, or is she just picking the wrong men?
As for Nicki Minaj allegedly entering the chat? Baby, I’m not getting into that. We’ve already had enough drama between these two women over the years. Let’s not open that can of worms, especially since I haven’t seen the receipts myself.
Meanwhile, let’s see how this plays out. This could go several ways. Cardi may take Diggs back. She could actually take a break and focus on her career and her life. Or she could find herself in the arms of another “healer” by next week.
One thing is certain: the cycle of chaos continues. And while Offset watches from the sidelines claiming victory, and Nicki allegedly laughs behind the scenes, Cardi B is left to pick up the pieces of another failed relationship.
