During a recent appearance on Today with Jenna & Sheinelle, the “I Like It” rapper shared that she was seriously considering a butt reduction after her tour. But after taking a step back, Cardi says she no longer feels the need to change a thing.
Cardi B Says Surgery Will Have to Wait
Earlier this year, Cardi joked backstage with Kehlani that she was heading to Colombia to “take some out” of her famous curves.
The comment quickly made headlines, with fans speculating that another cosmetic procedure was on the horizon.
But now, Cardi has officially changed course.
“Oh yeah, I was saying that, but I’m not gonna do it,” she explained. “I was just gonna take a little bit of butt out, but I don’t have time for that.”
Between motherhood, touring, and new music, the rapper says there simply isn’t room in her schedule for recovery.

Cardi has been remarkably transparent about her past experiences with body enhancement.
At 21, she received illegal biopolymer injections in Queens, New York, paying just $800 for the dangerous procedure.
In a 2018 interview with GQ, she described the experience as intensely painful and risky.
Years later, she underwent procedures to remove most of the biopolymers.
In 2022, Cardi revealed she had 95 percent of the material removed, and in early 2024, she underwent another round of treatment.
She has since used her platform to warn younger women against taking similar risks.
“If you’re 19, 20, 21… and you don’t have enough fat to put in your ass, don’t get ass shots,” she told fans during an Instagram Live.
A Busy Year for Cardi B
Cardi’s decision comes during an especially hectic chapter in her life.
She is currently on her Little Miss Drama Tour while raising four children: daughter Kulture, son Wave, daughter Blossom, and her youngest son, born in November 2025.

“I just had a baby four months ago,” she said, reflecting on how much she has accomplished in a short time.

The two reportedly took a step back earlier this year after trust issues surfaced, but sources say they remain committed to co-parenting.
