One of these theories suggests that Tupac is still alive and is living as Akil The MC from the Los Angeles hip-hop group Jurassic 5.

How old is Akil the MC?
Although he is popular as Akil the MC, his real name is Dante Givens, is reported to have been born on April 25, 1970. Presently, he is 53 years old. Interestingly, his age and certain facial characteristics have led some people to draw comparisons between him and the late rapper Tupac Shakur. The resemblance is partially due to their similar birth years, as both were born around the same time.
The birthplace of Dante (Akil) is unknown however, he currently resides in Los Angeles, California. He is one of six members of Jurassic 5 which made its debut in 1995.

We don’t think that Akil and Tupac are the same person. As mentioned, there are many people who believe that Akil is indeed the famous rapper Tupac so, is he? well, there are many theories and videos you can find on the internet, so why don’t we think that they are the same person? before that let’s discuss why people think and believe that Akil is Tupac.
The idea that Akil might actually be Tupac stems from a popular conspiracy theory suggesting Tupac faked his death. To add fuel to the fire, some even claimed they helped Tupac fake his death. Furthermore, Suge Knight also admitted that Tupac discussed faking his death just a week before he was shot. Suge also explained in one interview, “Tupac not dead, he smoking a Cuban cigar on an island somewhere.”

Also in a popular podcast Jumpers Jump, they recently explored the notion that Tupac faked his death. The hosts seemed to lean towards believing this theory.
Where is Tupac now?
Well, as mentioned Suge Knight said that he’s on some island smoking cigar, many conspiracy theorists believe that Tupac is now living in Cuba. Tupac was worth millions at the time of his death and he could live happily with the amount of wealth he had it was also possible for him to fake his death. However, that doesn’t mean Tupac is living as Akil the MC now.
Certainly, Akil does bear a resemblance to Tupac in terms of facial features, but that alone doesn’t equate to him actually being Tupac. It’s worth noting that Akil was a member of Jurrasic 5 during the time when Tupac was still alive. Let’s ponder this: why would Tupac even consider reentering the rap scene, knowing full well that his identity would likely be recognized? Moreover, Akil himself addresses this in the video above, stating that he is not Tupac.
In conclusion, we’d like to say that it is possible that Tupac might have faked his own death and is still alive, living somewhere but we really don’t think that Tupac and Akil the MC are the same guy.
