6ix9ine recalls prison conversations with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

6ix9ine has opened up about his prison experience with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

The rapper allegedly shared a jail unit with Combs, FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, and former president of Honduras, Juan Orlando Hernández.

During an interview with VladTV, 6ix9ine said, “[Diddy and I] slept next to each other. The first thing he said to me, he laughed, he’s like, ‘Yo, that’s crazy how we meet, right?’ That’s when I said, ‘Yo, why you never invited me to any of your parties?’”

6ix9ine’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, addressed the two rappers being in the same Special Housing Unit in November 2024.

“He was transferred to that same unit that P Diddy is in,” he said. “How they’re getting along, I have no information as to that.”

Bankman-Fried previously touched on his interactions with Combs behind bars. “He’s been kind,” he said. “I’ve made some friends, it’s a weird environment. It’s a combination of a few other high-profile cases and a lot of alleged ex-gangsters. I’ve only seen one piece of him, which is Diddy in prison. He’s been kind to people in the unit, he’s been kind to me.”

Combs was sentenced to four years and two months in prison and issued a $500,000 fine after being found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He remains at the Metropolitan Detention Center and has been inside the facility since September 2024.

6ix9ine, who was charged with racketeering, firearms offences, and conspiracy to commit murder, was held in solitary confinement after being sentenced to a month in prison for violating his supervised release, before being moved to Combs’ floor.
